ShipServ is the world’s largest marine procurement marketplace, serving 200 shipmanagers and owners who operate 9,000 vessels and handling roughly $3bn in annual trade. ShipServ moved core services to three Azure virtual data centers and Office 365, then standardized perimeter and cloud security on Fortinet — deploying FortiGate appliances (physical and VM), FortiMail and Fortinet Wi‑Fi Management. The consolidation delivered stronger intrusion prevention, reliable secure site‑to‑site VPNs, integrated multi‑vector protection, easier operations and OpEx flexibility; ShipServ achieved ISO 27001 accreditation, maintained ~99.7% uptime and improved efficiency and manageability.
