Isla Dominicana de Petroleo Corporation is a leading Dominican fuel distributor with more than 155 service stations (80 directly operated) and the exclusive Shell fuel representation since 2017. Rapid growth and a new headquarters highlighted persistent networking problems — configuration failures, insufficient Wi‑Fi, a mix of analog and digital systems, uneven station connectivity, and a need for an easy-to-manage, standardized solution for a small IT team.

The company deployed Fortinet Secure SD‑Branch and Secure SD‑WAN (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiVoice, FortiFone, FortiClient) to provide integrated wired/wireless connectivity, robust security, and centralized management.
