To meet that challenge IT Vortex adopted Fortinet — FortiGate NGFWs (with IPS, DNS filtering and DLP), FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, FortiAP/FortiSwitch and the Flex‑VM subscription model — for north‑south and east‑west protection, microsegmentation, centralized management and metered billing. The result: no breaches due to Fortinet policies, leaner operations with on‑demand VM/firewall scaling, transparent predictable billing, increased customer demand to extend Fortinet on‑premises, and plans to add a managed SOC service.
