HDFC Ltd., India’s leading housing finance company with a nationwide network and international offices, faced increasing Internet-based attacks and growing remote-access needs that outstripped its existing packet-filtering firewall. The IT team sought a manageable, high-performance security solution that added IPSec VPN, intrusion prevention, antivirus, anti‑spyware and web filtering without degrading throughput.
