ICT Provider Creates Agile Infrastructure to Securely Deliver Custom-Fit Solutions to Each Hosted Client

A European multinational ICT provider with nearly 10,000 specialists and operations in 18 countries needed a flexible, scalable datacenter architecture to deliver custom physical, cloud and hybrid hosting for each client. Building two new datacenters created the challenge of providing strong tenant isolation, fine-grained security and simple, automated operations while supporting rapid service deployment and growth.

The company deployed a software‑defined fabric based on Cisco ACI paired with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (and the FortiGate Connector for ACI) to enable endpoint groups, VDOMs and micro‑segmentation with stateful inspection and centralized policy automation.
