Healthcare MSSP Delivers Innovative Cloud Security to Multiple Providers

Sentara Healthcare, a 30,000-employee healthcare payer and provider, needed a cloud firewall that would work in Azure to protect sensitive electronic medical records stored in the cloud. To meet this challenge, Sentara partnered with MSSP Infinite Computers to build its Optify managed cloud service, using Fortinet secure networking solutions.

Fortinet’s FortiGate and secure networking backbone helped Sentara deliver cloud security for multiple providers and scale quickly when COVID-19 increased demand. The solution met Azure requirements, expanded capacity as needed, and produced an exponential return on investment compared with other products, according to Sentara.
