Fortinet Network and Security Solutions Enable Nonprofit to Serve the Community Better

St. Agnes’ Parish, a Catholic nonprofit in Port Macquarie, NSW, delivers aged care, respite, early education and community services across 25 sites and supports about 800 users with a five-person IT team. The organization needed more reliable internet and secure, manageable IT to support cloud services, OT nurse-call devices for a new dementia-care village, and better cybersecurity after years of underinvestment and intermittent connectivity.

Working with Ip.Glass, St. Agnes’ migrated to a Fortinet stack—FortiGate NGFWs, Secure SD‑WAN, FortiAP, FortiSwitch, FortiExtender, FortiManager and related tools—using templates to simplify rollout and ongoing management. The result: seamless multivendor failover and higher network availability, stronger security visibility and faster remediation of vulnerabilities, streamlined deployments for new sites, and a dramatic reduction in user complaints that lets the small IT team focus on delivering care.
