FortiGSLB Cloud Stabilizes Salvadoran BPO Company VPN Networks To Support Remote Work for 3,000 Agents

OneLink is a Salvadoran BPO with operations across Latin America that relies on a Fortinet-based network to support thousands of agents. When COVID-19 forced about 3,000 agents to work from home, the company rapidly deployed VPNs but experienced frequent outages due to internet-provider link failures and needed an automated, foolproof way to maintain stable remote connections.

OneLink implemented FortiGSLB Cloud—integrating it quickly with existing Fortinet infrastructure with minimal DNS and VPN-client changes—to monitor links and provide automatic failover and load balancing. The result was stable, seamless VPN access for more than 3,000 remote agents (with plans to scale to 6,000), plus improved security through FortiAuthenticator and FortiToken and easier future deployments thanks to full-platform integration and local Fortinet support.
