Dominican Republic Bank Achieves High Availability and Security of Its Network

BANFONDESA is a Dominican Republic savings and lending bank created by development fund FONDESA that serves about 300,000 customers across 59 branches (covering roughly 70% of the country). As the bank grew it inherited disparate network and security infrastructure, routing branch internet traffic through two data-center firewalls, which created single points of failure, limited visibility, and higher communications costs.
