A Fortinet Case Study
Christian College, a K–12 school in Geelong, Victoria serving about 1,800 students across six campuses, needed reliable wireless for up to 350 concurrent users. Its existing network suffered frequent connection drops, no seamless roaming and a heavy burden on IT, disrupting lessons and preventing planned laptop-based learning.
After trialing Fortinet’s Wireless LAN through resellers ASI and Wavelink, the school deployed three Fortinet controllers and 90 access points (30 APs installed in three days, full rollout in a week). The solution delivered instant connections and seamless roaming, reduced support incidents to almost zero, and returned roughly 25% of IT staff time to strategic work.
