Brazilian Resorts Boost Wi-Fi Connectivity and Network Security with Fortinet Solution

Salinas Maragogi and Salinas Maceió are all‑inclusive resorts in Brazil’s Amarante Group, serving thousands of guests across large, dispersed properties (Salinas Maragogi alone covers 66,000 m² with 344 rooms). With guests demanding always‑on connectivity across rooms, pools and the beach, the hotels faced frequent Wi‑Fi instability and limited IT resources to diagnose and fix issues.

Working with partners Inorpel Security and NortelData, the resorts deployed a Fortinet solution—FortiGate NGFW, FortiSwitch, FortiManager and 250 FortiAPs—to create a unified, secure network. The rollout delivered stable, protected Wi‑Fi across the properties, real‑time visibility and control for administrators, a significant drop in connection complaints, and immediate positive feedback from guests, staff and IT.
