A Fortinet Case Study

Preview of the Fortlev Case Study

Brazilian Plastic Products Manufacturer Improves Safety and Availability Through IT/OT Security Integration

Fortlev, Brazil’s leading maker of water storage tanks, PVC pipes and fittings, operates eight 24/7 factories with more than 1,700 employees. After rapid growth the company needed to redesign its network to converge IT and OT, improve availability and security across nationwide operations, and ensure continuous operation of machines, sensors and critical systems.

Working with partner Brasiline, Fortlev deployed the Fortinet Security Fabric—centered on FortiGate NGFWs, Secure SD‑WAN, FortiAnalyzer and FortiClient EMS—to centralize management, unify policies and extend IT protections into OT. The solution delivered automated sub‑second failover across three links, load balancing for 750+ endpoints, proactive threat monitoring and ZTNA for remote workers, achieving over 99% network availability and greatly improved visibility, security and user experience.
