Boosting Internet Security for the Airport International Group

The Airport International Group (AIG) operates and redeveloped Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport, investing nearly $1 billion to modernize its terminals. As a major airport operator, AIG inherited a patchwork of legacy security tools and faced growing, fast-changing cyber threats that required real-time visibility and automated, integrated defenses; manual threat analysis was slow and left the network vulnerable to service disruption, data leakage, and operational impact.

AIG implemented the Fortinet Security Fabric (including FortiGate, FortiWeb, FortiMail, FortiClient, FortiAnalyzer and FortiSIEM) to gain centralized, AI/ML-enhanced threat detection, automated response and single-console management. Within months the solution uncovered and helped remediate over 40 previously undetected threats, cut spam by 50%, and automatically blocked more than 100 web-application attacks per month, while simplifying the security stack, lowering operational costs and enabling future expansion.
