Contact Center Ensures ZTNA in Hybrid Infrastructure and Increases Agent Productivity by 20% with the Fortinet Security Fabric

Callzilla is a U.S.-based contact center with operations in Colombia and South Africa that combines AI and human agents to support clients across the Americas and Europe, with about 70% of staff working remotely. The company’s main challenge was securing a hybrid environment—on-premises servers, cloud apps, and CRMs—while protecting sensitive personal, financial, and health data, meeting U.S. and EU compliance and audit requirements, and reducing the complexity of a multi-vendor security stack.

Callzilla implemented the Fortinet Security Fabric—deploying FortiGate NGFWs (including Azure VMs), FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiSIEM, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiClient on 500 devices—to enable zero-trust network access, centralized monitoring, and single-vendor management. The unified solution simplified compliance and reporting, helped detect and control about 81,000 attacks per month, and increased agent productivity by roughly 20%; the company plans to add FortiToken MFA next.
