How COTSA Collects and Streamlines Competition Entries with Formplus

The Colorado Technology Student Association (COTSA) needed a better way to collect URLs and documents for its student competitions, moving away from a clunky process with Google Forms. They required a solution that could handle video entries and integrate with their existing Google Workspace tools. After finding other systems like WuFoo to be too expensive, they turned to Formplus for a more cost-effective online form builder.

Formplus provided a solution with its native integration to Google Sheets and Google Drive, allowing COTSA to receive submissions directly into a spreadsheet and store files digitally. This integration enabled the association to go completely paperless. The results were significant, streamlining the collection process for over 2,000 conference participants and eliminating the need to handle thousands of physical documents, making data management far easier.
