Capital Region Medical Center, a 100-bed community hospital in Jefferson City, MO, offers a full continuum of care and operates an extensive clinic system. The hospital faced a heavy documentation burden—more than 500 forms—causing printing and storage costs, manual errors, slow admissions and chart assembly, and operational inefficiencies as they moved to barcoding and bedside documentation.
