The Genossenschaftsverband Bayern (gvb), a service provider for Bavaria's cooperatives, faced the challenge of digitizing its complex, legally required audit process to save time and costs for its auditors and members. The existing in-person process was due for modernization to improve efficiency and support its digital transformation. Format D was engaged to develop a solution.
Format D implemented a secure web application using GraphQL, Nuxt.js, and Vue.js to guide cooperatives through document submission and auditors through planning and execution. The solution standardized the process into three clear phases, integrated secure data handling and a legally compliant digital signature, and enriched the gvb's existing internal interface. This resulted in a more time and cost-effective audit process, increased efficiency, and a positive digital experience for all users.
