San Francisco Shakespeare Festival Enhances Enrollment Process with Intuitive Web Forms

The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, a nonprofit offering free local Shakespeare performances and educational programs for children ages 6-18, was managing enrollments through paper forms and three separate databases, including Microsoft Access. After moving to Salesforce, the organization needed a way to eliminate data silos, track participant history more effectively, and reduce the time staff spent on manual processing.

The festival implemented FormAssembly to create an integrated online application system connected to Salesforce, with lookup rules, conditional logic, hidden fields, and Authorize.Net payment integration. With FormAssembly, staff reduced the time to process one student application from about 10 minutes to a fraction of the time, and what once took roughly 400 students’ worth of manual work could be handled in about an hour a week.
