The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, a nonprofit that supports the state boards of accountancy regulating the U.S. accounting profession, had been managing application forms on paper. The process created stacks of folders, generated complaints about long and complex applications, and often took weeks to months to complete. NASBA needed a faster way to handle detailed forms with multiple attachments.
NASBA switched to FormAssembly after finding it through the Salesforce AppExchange and now runs every application through the platform. The organization converted its applications in 3 months for less than 10% of the estimated $400,000 cost of building a system from scratch, and application completion time dropped to 4 hours. NASBA also said it had at least doubled its initial applications coming in.
