Dominican University needed a more efficient way to manage parking permits at the start of the semester. Using paper forms, students could wait up to an hour and a half, and the university expected to issue at least 3,000 permits during the school year. The university turned to FormAssembly to build web forms for this process.

With FormAssembly, Dominican University created an online permit request workflow where users authenticate, complete the form, and send data automatically to the support team through triggers. The new process reduced the wait time from 1 1/2 hours to 5 minutes max, and the university also uses the forms for travel requests and guest network access. Adam Smeets said the team plans to move all of its web forms to FormAssembly.
