Animate Materials Workshop (AMW), a research hub at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, needed a new website to serve as a database for its interdisciplinary work. Their challenge was to establish an accessible film catalogue, an events area, and a learnings section, all within a fully responsive and easy-to-manage WordPress CMS. They partnered with the vendor Forge and Smith to design and develop this custom solution.

Forge and Smith implemented a custom WordPress website built on their low-code Refoundry platform. The solution featured a visually engaging design that incorporated the client's brand assets, complex filtering for the media catalogue, and straightforward navigation. The results were significant, with the client achieving a 146% increase in organic search traffic and a 47% rise in pageviews.
