Vaxtor secures 6+ licensing renewals through 2026 with Foresight Mobile

Foresight Mobile was approached by Vaxtor, a provider of automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) systems, to help them enter the mobile market. Their challenge was to port their existing on-camera ANPR software to the Android platform. Vaxtor needed both a showcase application to demonstrate their technology to potential customers and a robust SDK that could be integrated into other apps to provide ANPR capabilities.

Foresight Mobile developed a high-performance native Android app and SDK using Kotlin and C++/NDK. The solution was a considerable success; the SDK was adopted by Spyglass for its AI platform and is used by police forces and parking operators globally. As a result, Vaxtor secured over six licensing renewals through 2026 and has expanded into new markets including Singapore, with Foresight Mobile continuing to provide ongoing support.
