Belk, a major department store, needed to quickly improve its website experience while also supporting a broader rebranding effort. Using ForeSee CX measurement and customer experience data from its Belk.com visitors, Belk focused limited resources on the changes most likely to improve satisfaction, purchase intent, loyalty, and return visits.
ForeSee helped Belk use Priority Map insights and web survey data to prioritize site performance and better align design and content with customer needs. The result was a 70% year-over-year increase in web sales to $34.8 million in 2010, including more than $1 million in sales on Thanksgiving Day, up from about a quarter of that the prior year.
