Sutton and East Surrey Water (SESW) is a regional water supplier serving about 670,000 residents across 284,000 properties. With 240 employees and roughly 500 endpoints spread over 12 locations, SESW needed better real-time network visibility and network access control to reduce manual asset discovery, continuously assess and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities, identify and control inappropriate wireless access, enforce policy-based port/protocol restrictions, and integrate with existing McAfee protections.

Working with integrator BlueFort, SESW deployed ForeScout CounterACT after a successful proof-of-concept. The agentless, non‑intrusive solution integrated with their network and McAfee ePO to deliver real-time visibility, a central compliance dashboard, automated policy enforcement (blocking noncompliant devices, ensuring AV status, disabling risky wireless, and blocking unauthorized apps), faster threat remediation, and significantly reduced manual overhead.
