The University of Southern Nevada, known for its rapidly growing three-year pharmaceutical education program, needed a user-friendly multimedia solution for two new state-of-the-art classrooms. Ford AV was brought in to custom design and install a system that would let professors present any required image or source with little to no technical experience.
Ford AV implemented a custom in-the-round classroom AV system featuring a podium with document camera, VHS/DVD and computer inputs, six rear projection screens with 4100-lumen projectors, ceiling-mounted speakers, microphones, a remote-controlled camera, and touch-panel control. The solution improved lecture delivery and supported overflow instruction between classrooms with live video feed capability, giving faculty an easy-to-use, fully integrated presentation environment.
