A Ford AV Case Study
Ford AV helped Thinkery, the Austin Children’s Museum, create interactive exhibits that support its mission of helping children learn the “why” and “how” of science. The museum needed engaging AV-driven experiences that would let visitors build, invent, share, and explore concepts through hands-on discovery.
Ford AV implemented a range of exhibit technologies, including a Mac Mini with Glowdoodle software, a webcam, a custom USB button, and dual LCD displays for the “Painting with Light” exhibit, plus video projection, an eight-display corner video wall, touch computer and webcam photo capture, and digital microscopes connected to LCDs. The result was a set of immersive, visitor-friendly installations that encourage movement, creativity, and exploration throughout the museum, though no specific measurable metrics were provided.
