A Ford AV Case Study
Texas Tech University needed to expand its campus facilities with a new English Philosophy and Education (EPEC) center, including audio and video systems for 40 classrooms and three lecture halls. Ford AV (Ford Audio-Video) was brought in again after prior successful projects at the university to provide the AV installation and control infrastructure for the new space.
Ford AV implemented a comprehensive system featuring touch-panel control, 44 projectors, 44 projection screens, 88 speakers, 47 computer interfaces, 4 document cameras, 7 wireless microphone systems, and a distance learning system. The solution equipped each classroom and lecture hall with integrated AV and presentation tools, improving instructional capability and enabling remote learning, with the overall impact being a fully unified, computer-controlled learning environment across the new EPEC center.
