Rackspace wanted to create a distinctive workplace that would inspire its 3,000 employees to deliver excellent customer service. To help meet this goal, Ford AV designed and integrated an easy-to-use AV environment for Rackspace’s repurposed 1.2 million-square-foot mall campus, with technology that employees could quickly use in meeting rooms without technical assistance.

Ford AV implemented common room AV systems featuring switchers, control processors, display controls, room mode options, programmable AV input buttons, and occupancy sensors tied to the control system. In videoconferencing rooms, Ford AV added codecs, phone interfaces, ceiling speakers, amplifiers, laptop/PC inputs, and single- or dual-display conferencing setups, creating a flexible collaboration environment that improved usability across the campus.
