Northrop Grumman chose to renovate its Azusa facility, home to the company’s electronic systems division, and needed an upgraded audio-visual environment for its main command, control, and monitoring center. Ford AV was selected to help support a dual-projection presentation command and control setup with integrated AV and control technology.

Ford AV implemented a complete command-and-control solution featuring two front projectors, a matrix switcher, a touchscreen control system, auto mic mixing/ducking/equalization, video scalers, plasma displays, computer monitors, and access to VCR, DVD, DSS, and cable television sources. The result was a 24-hour monitoring center with state-of-the-art AV capabilities that improved visibility, source control, and operational monitoring for Northrop Grumman’s satellite electronic systems.
