John Brown University needed a modern performing arts facility with more space and advanced technology to support theater productions, musical performances, small chapel programs, and special campus events. Ford AV was brought in to design and integrate the audio and video systems for the new Berry Performing Arts Center.
Ford AV implemented a comprehensive AV solution featuring Ethersound digital audio distribution, left/center/right speaker clusters, subwoofers, front fill, distributed sound, and a multi-format HD video production system with switcher, input panels, recorders, and projectors. The result was a versatile 28,000-square-foot venue with improved production capabilities and flexible support for a wide range of campus events.
