A Ford AV Case Study
George Bush Intercontinental Airport, in partnership with United Airlines, needed a state-of-the-art audio and visual system for its new 265,000-square-foot terminal to support the airport’s unique communication demands. Ford AV was brought in to help provide a clearer way for airline staff and passengers to communicate throughout the terminal.
Ford AV implemented an AV solution featuring 46-inch displays, JBL and Meyer speakers, and paging stations to improve visibility, speech clarity, and access points for announcements. The result was a more effective communication environment that helps passengers receive information more clearly and allows travelers to rest easier before flights, though no specific quantitative metrics were provided.
