The Denver Broncos needed a high-performance audiovisual and communications system for their new home at Invesco Field at Mile High, a massive 1.7-million-square-foot stadium built to intensify crowd noise and support game-day operations. Ford AV was brought in to install the stadium’s distributed sound, in-house cable television, and broadcast media infrastructure.

Ford AV delivered a facility-wide solution featuring more than 2,000 loudspeakers, 150,000 watts of amplification, digital signal processing, and computer-based amplifier monitoring for easy control and maintenance. The system also included in-house cable TV distribution to 600 outlets and more than 141 miles of audio, video, data, and fiber-optic cabling, enabling six broadcast networks to operate simultaneously and greatly simplifying national and local broadcast coverage.
