Coors Field, a modern ballpark with an old-time feel, needed an audio system that would deliver clear sound throughout the stadium while minimizing noise spill into the surrounding neighborhood. Ford AV was brought in to provide a sound reinforcement solution that fit the stadium’s unique design and life-safety requirements.

Ford AV installed 400 custom-designed, weatherproof distributed loudspeaker enclosures throughout the seating areas, supported by more than 160 amplifiers and a fully computer-controllable system. The result was discreet stereo playback across the audience area, easier testing and monitoring from one location, and a successful opening day that consultant Acentech called the smoothest facility launch it had ever worked on.
