Civic Center Music Hall, a major cultural and entertainment venue in Oklahoma City, needed a renovated performance space that could deliver both European-style concert hall acoustics and Broadway-quality sound reinforcement. Ford AV was brought in to install a new sound system that could support a wide range of performance types while preserving the hall’s historic character.

Ford AV implemented a flexible sound reinforcement solution with left, center, and right loudspeaker clusters on motorized hoists, allowing staff to lower the speakers for amplified events or remove them for purely acoustic performances. The system also added three mixing console locations for optimal audio control, making the venue unusually “mixing friendly” and better suited to orchestral and theatrical productions.
