A Ford AV Case Study
Chicksaw National Medical Center, a 358,000-square-foot facility on Chickasaw tribal lands, needed a modern AV environment that supported its wide range of services, from diabetes care and dental to women’s health. Ford AV helped address this challenge by providing technology designed to improve communication across the medical center, including portable videoconferencing carts, AV control touchpanels, and digital signage capabilities.
Ford AV implemented a system with recessed ceiling speakers for sound masking and paging, plasma displays, RF distribution over fiber, and a 55" LED signage display for pharmacy messaging, advertisements, and prescription-status updates. The result was a flexible, accessible communications infrastructure that enhanced patient and staff communication throughout the facility, though no specific quantitative impact was provided.
