A Ford AV Case Study
A.B. Won Pat International Airport, operated by the A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, needed to modernize its audio infrastructure as passenger traffic grew. Ford AV was contracted to update the airport’s paging and public address capabilities with a new digital paging system.
Ford AV installed ambient noise sensors with software to automatically adjust audio levels, overhead speakers throughout the terminals and concourse, and integrated digital paging stations for zone-specific or whole-terminal announcements. The result was clearer communication for passengers and staff across the airport, with a system better able to respond to changing noise conditions, though the case study does not provide specific numerical performance metrics.
