A Forcepoint Case Study
Swiss Life France, the largest subsidiary of Swiss Life — a leading insurance and wealth manager founded in 1857 — employs about 2,750 people and supports roughly 1,400 remote sales representatives. In 2009 the company faced growing risk from zero‑day malware, ransomware, rootkits and other advanced persistent threats that were infiltrating networks undetected, and needed to ensure secure, consistent protection for devices connecting from unsecured external networks.
After an audit and proof of concept, Swiss Life deployed Forcepoint Web Security in a hybrid cloud/on‑premises architecture, working with partner Yourax and integrating with Active Directory and SIEM tools. The real‑time, inline solution has prevented the spread of malware and ransomware, protected remote users on public networks, and provided a flexible, reliable security posture that Swiss Life has relied on since 2009.
