Rösler, a German manufacturer of mechanical surface finishing with about 1,500 employees and multiple global sites, was struggling with fragmented firewall systems and limited network transparency. Dispersed log files, time‑consuming updates and ad‑hoc monitoring meant configuration errors and compliance gaps went unnoticed and made it hard for IT to manage security consistently across all locations.

Working with partner Software Symbiose, Rösler deployed Forcepoint NGFW centrally at headquarters and across its sites (around 25 appliances), using features like IPS, Multilink VPN and centralized management. The rollout delivered unified visibility and control, significant time savings for maintenance and updates, more effective backups and compliance checks, faster response to threats, and easier implementation of future WAN and security projects.
