Paprec Group, France’s leading independent recycler with 8,500 employees and over 2,300 workstations across more than 200 sites, needed better control and visibility over sensitive data leaving the company via removable devices, email and the cloud. The company sought a customizable solution that would trace and classify data without hindering daily operations and support user awareness and role-specific policies across an industrial environment.

Paprec selected Forcepoint’s hybrid DLP as the most configurable and easy-to-deploy option. Deployment took about 18 months, with monitoring available after two weeks and full detection achieved over subsequent months; targeted blocking policies and monitoring of internal, external and removable-device flows were then implemented. The project included 1,000 secure, traceable USB keys and delivered markedly improved visibility and control of sensitive data—results that satisfied IT leadership and drove a strong recommendation for selecting the right DLP model for business needs.
