Northern California Bank - Customer Case Study

Northern California Bank (anonymous) is a multi‑billion‑dollar holding company for a commercial and regional community bank with more than 90 branches and two trust offices across 21 counties. After an external audit, the bank needed to protect corporate assets and customer information from internal threats in a unique technology environment and sought a unified solution with embedded data loss prevention across web and email gateways.

The bank chose Forcepoint’s TRITON Architecture—deploying Forcepoint Web Security, Email Security, and DLP on both network and endpoints—to provide source/destination awareness, control printing of sensitive documents, and prevent USB exfiltration via encryption and restricted access. The unified solution enabled real‑time policy decisions, automated alerts and periodic network checks, significantly mitigating employee risk, exceeding expectations, and remaining in use since 2011.
