Big Star secures 200 stores with Forcepoint SD-WAN and NGFW

Big Star, a major retail clothing chain based in Poland, faced the challenge of maintaining robust and secure network connections from its core data center to over 200 retail stores. Their expensive MPLS lines lacked central administration and visibility, and they needed a more cost-effective solution to securely distribute point-of-sale data and support cloud applications. They partnered with Forcepoint to implement its Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) and SD-WAN solution.

Forcepoint implemented a solution that migrated the retailer from MPLS to a secure SD-WAN, integrating cost-effective local ISP links with top-rated NGFW security. This allowed Big Star to centrally manage all sites from a single console, easily replicate configurations for new stores without on-site technicians, and automatically enforce security policies. The results included significant cost savings, increased operational efficiency, greater network stability, and improved security for customer data across their retail empire.
