BorgWarner Cooling Systems, the Markdorf (GER) subsidiary of automotive supplier BorgWarner, faced limited shop‑floor transparency and inconsistent processes across its 40 machines and sought to standardize operations, synchronize production and boost efficiency. To tackle these challenges they engaged FORCAM and adopted FORCAM FORCE™ shop‑floor management technology.

FORCAM delivered a custom production management system that collects machine and operating data, integrates real‑time information with SAP ERP and visualizes KPIs in the FORCAM Cockpit to support lean/CIP workflows. The FORCAM implementation enabled objective monitoring, bottleneck analysis and improved scheduling, yielding a measurable 4.3% increase in productivity within six months along with better OEE, reduced cycle/setup times and greater operational transparency.
