Audi, the German automotive manufacturer, needed greater efficiency and faster response to customer-specific demands in its press plants in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm. To improve production of increasingly complex car body panels and pressed parts, Audi worked with FORCAM and its Advanced Shop Floor Management Technology.

FORCAM implemented its shop floor management solution in Audi’s press lines to provide real-time machine data collection, transparency, waste analysis, and OEE tracking, with integration to SAP ERP. The rollout helped Audi increase productivity by more than 20%, improve visibility across operations, and dramatically speed up year-end reporting, reducing a task that once took six employees three months to one person and one week.
