Speakk is a South African voice‑messaging app created in 2019 for an entrepreneur with the challenge of delivering a fully free, data‑free chat experience across South Africa despite high mobile data costs. Fora Soft was engaged to build the Android application and supporting services, including contact integration, data‑free voice messaging and a chatbot API.

Fora Soft took Speakk from prototype to live, implementing in‑app advertising to fund nationwide, zero‑data voice chats, phonebook integration and chatbot capabilities. The result: Speakk has been downloaded over 60,000 times (65,000 reported) and lets users chat across South Africa without using their mobile data, with the client praising Fora Soft’s responsiveness and successful launch support.
