Camelot Counseling, a Staten Island-based agency serving substance use disorder and mental health clients since 1976, needed to move beyond a paper-based documentation process that was slowing staff down and making records harder to manage. To support the transition, Camelot worked with Foothold Technology and its AWARDS EHR platform.

Foothold Technology helped Camelot standardize forms, redesign workflows, and train staff over about a year so the agency could fully replace paper charts with an electronic system. The new person-centered approach preserved client focus while freeing up time for direct care, and the agency reported a major success shortly after rollout: a perfect audit score.
