Egersund Seafood, a Norwegian fish-shop and restaurant network and manufacturer of gourmet seafood products, needed to systematize food-safety control across catch, processing, storage, transport and retail and to harmonize HACCP practices with European standards. To do this they turned to FoodDocs and its digital HACCP plan/software to replace fragmented paper procedures and inconsistent HACCP interpretations.

FoodDocs worked with Egersund Seafood to configure a digital HACCP plan in about two weeks—filling required fields over a video call, uploading flow diagrams and contracts, setting up monitoring sheets and training staff—and provided a mobile app for routine checks. As a result, audits are faster and simpler and the company’s annual audit reported that the safety of their food products is 100%; Egersund Seafood also reports significant time savings and easier ongoing compliance thanks to FoodDocs.
