Clarks Moves Headquarters, Adds Rotating Restaurants for Lunch

Clarks, the family-owned footwear company, moved its Americas headquarters from Newton to Waltham and suddenly found employees had far fewer nearby lunch options. Rather than build and maintain a cafeteria or rely on grab-and-go convenience options, Clarks wanted a better way to give staff a convenient, appealing lunch experience.

Fooda implemented its Popup Program, bringing a different restaurant onsite each day so employees could buy fresh lunch without leaving the office. The result was a low-cost perk that saved employees hundreds of hours per year, and it quickly proved popular: after nearly a year, more than 15% of Clarks employees were choosing Fooda for lunch when restaurants popped up.
