Fonteva partnered with Pepperdine University — a multi-campus institution founded in 1937 that runs a heavy calendar of alumni and fundraising events — to solve a core problem: Pepperdine needed an events platform that could handle complex registration rules, ticket packages and customization across many campus organizations while remaining simple enough for nontechnical users to adopt. After vetting 14 platforms with input from 140 stakeholders, Pepperdine selected Fonteva to deliver a Salesforce-native solution that would support fundraising and alumni engagement and provide a consistent, modern experience for attendees.

Fonteva embedded with Pepperdine to configure Fonteva Events on Salesforce, delivering customizable registration pages, Lightning dashboards, automated email campaigns and branded UX while keeping the system easy to use. The results: a contact match rate that rose from under 20% to over 51%, $1.7 million in fundraising ticket sales directly attributed to Fonteva, and broad adoption (70 users creating more than 270 events in 2018), with plans to expand enterprise-wide.
