KWF Kankerbestrijding, the Dutch Cancer Society, is the Netherlands’ largest non‑profit fighting cancer, with over 100,000 volunteers and many small‑to‑medium fundraising and training events. Although KWF has used Salesforce since 2017, it relied on spreadsheets (and a non‑integrated Eventbrite trial) to manage events, creating time‑consuming manual work, duplicate and lost records, GDPR risks, and slow, ineffective post‑event follow‑up.
KWF implemented Fonteva, a 100% native Salesforce events platform that delivers real‑time attendee tracking, out‑of‑the‑box CRM features and dashboards. Moving off spreadsheets gave KWF secure, GDPR‑compliant data, faster workflows, more accurate reporting and streamlined post‑event communications—saving staff time and improving visibility into event and attendee engagement.
