Econekt, a market leader in self-build solutions from ICF foundations to Passivhaus homes, needed a way to keep designers, trades, subcontractors and clients tightly coordinated across projects. To support seamless collaboration on- and off-site they adopted the site-management tool Fonn, using its web and mobile apps to manage drawings, photos, BIM models and communications in one place.

Fonn was implemented across all jobs to centralise uploads, RFIs, change requests, checklists and daily site diaries, enabling real-time updates and instant messaging between parties. As a result, Econekt reports significantly reduced on-site risk, eliminated the need for a dedicated site manager (drastically lowering project management costs), removed reliance on email/IM, and improved task allocation and transparency for clients and teams.
